Home Row is a free browser-based typing test. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. What Home Row does

Home Row measures typing speed (words per minute) and accuracy against a randomly generated passage, entirely within your browser. There is no account, sign-up, or login.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use automated tools, scripts, or bots to inflate results, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the site.

3. Advertising

Home Row may display third-party advertising, including through Google AdSense, to support the site. If active, these ads may use cookies to personalize content and measure performance — see our Privacy Policy for details on what's currently in use.

4. No warranty

Home Row is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the timer, WPM calculation, or any other feature will be free of errors or available without interruption.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Row and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
